  10. StarsAndStripes is an all caps display font which gives typed copy a patriotic look. StarsAndStripes gives the typist and graphic artist versatility to work with a font that can be all stars, all stripes, or combined stars and stripes.

  12. Use for eye-catching, year round notices, headlines and ad display to convey yankee-doodle, patriotic messages.

  14. Instead of reaching for clip art books or diskettes to find stars & stripes messages, reach for the keyboard and click away. I recommend no lower than 36 pts. It’s IDEAL at 48 and up for ad copy, posters, displays  etc.

  16. • Lower case keyboard strokes will produce stripes, and caps make stars. Numbers are stripes. Option-Numbers are stars.
  17. • Shift-Number is Striped symbol above the number. Option-Shift Number is Starred symbol above the number.
  18. • Punctuation and other symbols follows the same system; that is,
  19.     Lower case / is a striped /,
  20.     Shift-/ is a striped ?,
  21.     Option-/ is a starred /, and
  22.     Option-Shift-/ is a starred ?.

Note: Registered users, are entitled to free updates should I decided to add more characters or symbols to the font OR if any reported glitches should surface. For instance, I updated SnyderSpeed v.1 (all caps) to upper and lower case with added characters and new kerning (SnyderSpeed 2) just two months after first releasing it as a Type 1 font. Why?  Because enough registered users asked for lower case.  All registered users then benefitted by receiving a free update by U.S. mail BEFORE I released v.2 to modem, disk of the month or catalog services.

Since creating my first font SnyderSpeed Brush (11/91 v.1 upper case only), the encouragement of shareware fees and/or input from users, allowed me to update SnyderSpeed (v2) by adding lower case (1/92), plus create OregonWet (an AOL top download 11/91 ), OregonDry,  MarkerFeltThin 2/92 and MarkerFeltWide 4/92 (used by Aldus Magazine's "New Comics" display layout July/Aug. '92, pgs. 18-21).  All of the above Type 1 fonts will be converted to TrueType fonts and re-released to AOL and CompuServe by Aug. '92.
